Al-Bustan Summer Arabic Classes

Migrated automatically.

Al-Bustan is pleased to offer remote Modern Standard Arabic courses for adults in 2022 using curricula specifically designed for our students, based on feedback from previous course cycles. Held on ZOOM, the 10-week sessions run the week of June 6th through the week of August 8th. We are offering two sections, Beginner 1 for complete novices to the Arabic language and Beginner 2 for those with novice prior engagement with the Arabic language, both taught by Instructor Noora Alrawi.

Please note that our curriculum is based on the Mastering Arabic series by Jane Wightwick and Mahmoud Gaafar. Our Beginner 1 & 2 students use Mastering Arabic 1: Third Edition and accompanying Mastering Arabic 1 Activity Book: Second Edition.

You can purchase the required textbook and activity book for your course from the publisher’s website: https://www.hippocrenebooks.com/store/c19/Mastering_Arabic_Series.html

You can also find used copies of these textbooks for a lesser price from online sellers.
