Organizations

The Philadelphia region is home to hundreds of non-profit organizations, civic and professional associations, and public agencies dedicated to connecting the region to the rest of the world and enhancing its international reputation.  

Whether it's an international development agency working on behalf of women's rights in Afghanistan or teaching sustainable agricultural techniques in Africa, an association of citizens organized in support of the goals of the United Nations, a chapter of the International Visitors Council dedicated to citizen diplomacy, or a chamber of commerce focused on promoting business ties with South America, you can find it here.

United Ukrainian American Relief Committee
University of the Sciences
University of the Sciences is a private, comprehensive, coeducational university founded in 1821 as Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, the first school of pharmacy in North America. Today, the University continues to build on that esteemed tradition by offering bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in pharmacy and a variety of other health-related disciplines.

Established in 1960, Valley Forge Audubon Society is a chapter of the National Audubon Society serving the western metropolitan Philadelphia areas including Delaware, Montgomery and Chester Counties.
Valley Forge Conventions and Visitors Bureau
The Valley Forge Convention and Visitors Bureau, Ltd. is a private, non-profit membership sales and marketing organization which promotes the Valley Forge area and Montgomery County as a convention site and leisure visitor destination by promoting patronage of its member hotels, restaurants, attractions and services. It was founded by the Montgomery County Commissioners in 1963 as the officially chartered tourism promotion agency of Montgomery County. The County Commissioners voted to privatize it in 1999, while maintaining oversight through the agency's volunteer board of directors. The Bureau does not receive funding from Montgomery County.
VietLead
VietLead is a nonprofit grassroots organization aimed at serving the Vietnamese community in Philadelphia and South Jersey. 
Washington Memorial Chapel
 Washington Memorial Chapel — located on Pennsylvania Route 23 in Valley Forge National Historical Park — is both a national memorial dedicated to General George Washington and an active Episcopal parish in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania

Women's Campaign International (WCI)
Women's Campaign International (WCI) empowers women worldwide to actively participate in civil society, political leadership, economic development and peace building. Specializing in transitional states and post-conflict regions around the world, WCI equips women and girls with the skills and support needed to transform their lives and communities. Below are just a few examples of the impact WCI has made worldwide:
World Trade Association of Philadelphia
The Association was established in 1931, with the purpose of promoting international trade, through monthly meetings and seminars. The Executive Board, Board of Directors, and members are all volunteers who represent every segment of the maritime industry. Through their combined efforts, they are able to offer extraordinary networking opportunities at well-attended events, particularly the Annual Banquet (held in September) and the Golf Outing (held in June).  
Main Line School Night
School Night at a Glance Main Line School Night, the area's largest adult education program, attracts thousands each term with a choice of over 400 weekday, weeknight and weekend non-credit courses. Timely, trendy and familiar courses keep the mind and body fit in the creative arts, computers, cooking, dance, fitness, hobbies & crafts, home & garden, investing & money management, language, music, sports & games, writing and travel. To meet the changing interests and desires of the community nearly one-third of School Night classes are new each term.
