http://www.schoolswithoutborders.org Schools Without Borders' mission to empower girls in marginalized communities through literacy. The GIRLS! Library Project employs a public health approach to utilizing literacy as a reduction tool for social determinants of health such as poverty, education and health inequities, and gender discrimination. New printed and Braille books that meet common core standards are provided to create and maintain libraries for GIRLS! in urban and rural communities to increase early grade reading and early childhood cognitive development from birth to third grade/class three. The One Woman One Girl Campaign (OWOG) supports the GIRLS! Library Project and the UN Sustainable Developmental Goals (SDGs). Current targeted communities are: Greater Philadelphia area, USA, Nigeria, Grenada, Haiti, and Rwanda.
