Temple University Holds ‘Facebook’ Webinar for Small Businesses
Posted on October 6, 2020

Last month, Temple University’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) hosted a webinar focused on small businesses utilizing Facebook for their outreach plans. SBDC’s goal is to provide education and no-cost consulting services to entrepreneurs and small business owners.
The webinar, a basic level presentation, was intended for entrepreneurs who have little experience with the social media platform. It was led by SBDC Associate Director Jamie Shanker-Passero, who shared the basics of Facebook tactics such as setting up a Facebook account, how to engage with customers through the platform, scheduling posts, advertising, and boosting.
Facebook is a crucial tool toward marketing small businesses and becoming more essential by the day. It is necessary to understand how to create a presence and produce useful information to connect with potential customers.
SBDC is available within 18 colleges and universities with more than 90 outreach centers located throughout the state of Pennsylvania. If you are a small business and need some assistance, contact SBDC to arrange for a free and confidential one-on-one consultation.
