Reopen and Recover Grant Program

Today the West Philadelphia Financial Services Institution announced the Reopen and Recover Grant Program was officially launched to help small businesses in West Philadelphia. The West Philadelphia Corridor Collaborative is coordinating the program on eligible commercial corridors. Eligible businesses can apply for an up to $10,000.00 grant to pay for physical improvements, marketing, past-due expenses and bills, and inventory. The program opens today (February 12th) and will close on February 26th.
To be eligible businesses must:
- Be in Business on September 19, 2019
- Be independently owned and operated

Physically located on a commercial corridor with these boundaries:
- 52nd Street (Parkside Avenue to Baltimore Avenue)
- 60th Street (Market Street to Spruce Street)
- Baltimore Avenue (From 40th Street to 52nd Street)
- Not be a nuisance entity
- Make less than $1 Million in the prior year's tax return
- Must be in the process of opening or already open
