In 2006, Leadership Philadelphia began its Connectors Project to highlight and celebrate the tremendous leadership that happens in the Greater Philadelphia region. This year, Leadership Philadelphia compiled a list of the top 76 Creative Connectors, members of the local arts and culture community who are creating opportunities for Philadelphia residents to share in cultural and artistic activities, and who are also helping to bring national and international attention to the City.
Global Philadelphia Association is proud to announce that several GPA Members and friends have been selected as "Creative Connectors," including:
- Renae Dinerman, Director of Arts at International House
- Hazami Sayed, Executive Director of Al-Bustan Seeds of Culture
- Patricia Washington, Vice President of Cultural Tourism, Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation
The Creative Connectors will be convened at an event on October 25th at World Café Live. On November 30th the entire group of Connectors will be assembled at the Franklin Institute.
For more on the Creative Connectors program, please refer to this interview conducted with Elizabeth Dow, president and CEO of Leadership Philadelphia.
