$1.2 million in humanities recovery and growth funding now available through PA SHARP
Posted on September 7, 2021

Today we are excited to launch PA SHARP, our $1.2 million humanities recovery and growth program. Through this initiative we will be able to offer up to $20,000 in flexible funding to eligible organizations across the state.
PA SHARP provides an exciting opportunity to reimagine, reinvent, and re-envision humanities work through planning, capacity building, and creative programming. To support this goal, we are partnering with our grantees to help lead Pennsylvania’s recovery through what we’re calling the PA SHARP Learning Network -- a statewide community fostering resource sharing, networking, professional development, and mutual support.
Quick Facts about PA SHARP
- Award amount: Up to $20,000 in flexible funding for either general operating and capacity building or program support
- Application period: 9/1/21 - 10/1/21
- Eligibility: PA organizations with a humanities-based mission and organizations conducting humanities programming
-
No match required
- Grantees join statewide learning/support network
You can find all the materials, including guidelines, FAQs, and a preview application, at pahumanities.org/pasharp.
Funding for PA SHARP has been provided by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) as part of the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act of 2021.
