The Philadelphia-Serengeti Alliance (PSA) invites you to participate in our debut fundraiser, “The Top of the Hop,” to be held on Saturday evening, October 19, 2013, top floor of Hopkinson House on Washington Square, Philadelphia, PA. We are planning a wonderful evening of African food and music, with over twenty raffle items that have been donated by Philadelphia businesses and individuals — all overlooking a fantastic view of Center City and the Delaware! PSA is an all-volunteer organization officially established in 2012.

The Greater Philadelphia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, or GPHCC, has focused on supporting Hispanic businesses and professionals in the greater Philadelphia region since its establishment in 1990. GPHCC provides Latinx entrepreneurs resources, education, and opportunities that allow their businesses to grow and thrive. In 2016, Jennifer Rodriguez was instated as the new President and CEO of GPHCC, and she has been continuing the Chamber’s mission through her efforts with the organization.

Global Conversation with Mitchell Little

Mitchell Little is the executive director at Philadelphia’s Office of Community Empowerment and Opportunity. A native Philadelphian, Mitchell’s role is to oversee the work that is done in the office that focuses on improving economic mobility opportunities for Philadelphians impacted by poverty. 

Since 1964, the office has been focused on economic empowerment, evolving from a community service-based approach to one that invests in and advocates for successful anti-poverty solutions.

Global Conversation with Dr. Stephen Tang

Dr. Stephen Tang, President and CEO of OraSure Technologies will be the recipient of Global Philadelphia’s 2021 Globy Award for Corporate Leadership on December 13. Before becoming president and CEO, Dr. Tang joined the OraSure Board in April 2011 and was the Company’s Chairman of the Board from 2016-2018. 

Global Philadelphia had the opportunity to speak to Dr. Tang about his nomination, Orasure, and his thoughts on leadership.
