Olney Youth Arts Festival is a multicultural celebration of youth creativity with a distinct focus on dance and movement. The event is designed to highlight different ethnic expressions towards cross-cultural awareness and to showcase the strength of various arts programs serving the children and youth in Philadelphia’s neighborhoods.

At the MW Main Tent, toddlers and kids aged 2-12 and teens aged 13-17 can pick up their MightyFest passport. To fill the book, they’ll complete fun and engaging writing activities at each booth and earn unique stamps. A main stage will writers and musicians. The Phillie Phanatic will be there. Mina aywhat from Power99 will MC the end of the day celebration, 2:30-4pm.

The College Bound Showcase Camp is designed to provide an experience to train/play like a Temple Soccer Player and showcase your abilities to the Temple Men's Soccer Staff. Any and all HS aged boys may participate.

Throughout the day, beneath the rainbow lighting of the Benjamin Franklin National Memorial, experience live demonstrations related to visibility and the color spectrum.

Plus! Local artist Lauren Cat West and Franklin Institute science interpreter Paul Taylor collaborate to create a dynamic art installation that shows the rainbow of colors within the spectrum.

At The Business of Doing Good, we hold 5 day summer programs to teach middle school kids about social entrepreneurship. We provide the exposure and tools and every participant chooses their own topic to focus on. We provide a dynamic and engaging curriculum that will leave kids inspired to change the world. We also teach kids how to create, present, and launch their unique social entrepreneurial endeavor. Topics we focus on include: ideation, communication, marketing, and presentation skills. Kids get the chance to meet and engage with local entrepreneurs, who will share their stories.

Overview:

We are excited to provide all participants the opportunity to practice and learn lacrosse skills in a collegiate training setting. The session will include warm-up, drills and scrimmage tactics used by the Gwynedd Mercy Lacrosse Coaching staff. You will also have the chance to interact with the team and see our beautiful campus.
