Profugo is a grassroots non-profit organization involved in International Development. Our mission is to provide communities with access to tools and resources that enable them to build a better quality of life. Our vision is creating a world where brighter futures are possible because all communities have equal access to a better quality of life.

The United African Educational Foundation (UAEF) is a nonprofit, charitable organization with the aim of addressing more directly the educational needs and aspirations of school children of African descent in the United States and other parts of the world. As part of the educational outreach, UAEF produces and publishes a series of African fables and folktales in the form of children’s books, as well as other forms of learning material and educational services. We believe that investing in the productive education of our children is the smart way of investing in our future. To this end, UAEF is firmly about the business of lifting the minds and aspirations of our young that they may lift our world to a perfect humanity.

The German Society of Pennsylvania seeks to foster good understanding between the peoples of the United States of America and Germany by maintaining an awareness of German culture and traditions, and by promoting the understanding of German and German-American contributions to the history, culture, economy, science, and technology of the United States. The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), founded in 1929, is the oldest and most widely respected Hispanic civil rights organization in the United States of America. LULAC was created at a time in our country’s history when Hispanics were denied basic civil and human rights, despite contributions to American society. The founders of LULAC created an organization that empowers its members to create and develop opportunities where they are needed most.

KOREAN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SERVICES CENTER

KCDSC is a nonprofit organization located in the Olney neighborhood of Philadelphia. Our mission is to provide the support services that address the felt needs within our community so that our community members can achieve personal growth and pursue community growth.

Courtyard Dancers is a non-profit Kathak dance company based in Philadelphia and Kolkata. We are especially interested in working with poetic forms in Kathak dance styles such as Ghazal, Thumri and Qawwali for exploring emotional landscapes of love, justice, humanism, and hope. Our dance-theater creations juxtapose the beauty of the classical forms with everyday movements to envision our own collages of life. We strive to make dance relevant to lived and diverse experiences of our lives, both ordinary and unique. While we work with Indian dance forms that are rooted in traditions, we are continuously searching to mold them to express the contemporary. We believe that tradition and contemporary are not oppositional, but are best understood as legacies, connections, and transformations.

B’nai B’rith International is a staunch defender of the State of Israel, advocates for global Jewry and champions the cause of human rights. B’nai B’rith is recognized as a vital voice in combatting anti-Semitism, promoting Jewish unity and continuity, a leader in disaster relief and assisting communities in crisis, a provider of safe and affordable housing for low-income older adults and a tireless advocate on behalf of seniors.
