ASHM is proud to partner with the World Affairs Council to present this hybrid event of a conversation on U.S- Sweden relations.

In late February, Iran rejected an offer from the European Union to hold direct nuclear talks with the U.S.—part of the Biden administration’s goal to restore diplomatic relations and perhaps even revive the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, known in common parlance as the Iran Nuclear Deal. But, at the time, with no guarantee about U.S. sanctions relief, any hope for negotiations stalled.

The Mid-Atlantic - Eurasia Business Council and Philadelphia Conventions and Visitors Bureau are planning a program to celebrate two occasions: first, the Philadelphia Union's victory with best overall record in the MLS and earning the Supporter's Shield trophy; second, the regional intentions to make the city of Philadelphia a FIFA World Cup host and recent city's presentation to FIFA and U.S. Soccer. We hosted a virtual event on December 7, 2020 and would like to invite you to a virtual event in late Spring 2021 and a hybrid/virtual event in Fall 2021.
