World Computer Day

Date:
Wednesday, February 15, 2023 (All day)
Website:
https://worldcomputerday.org World Computer Day is an annual celebration of computing and the people who make IT happen.
There's much to celebrate this year for World Computer Day, but nothing more important than the celebration of the world's first all- electronic computer company, the Eckert-Mauchly Computer Corporation.
Each year has a new theme, new events, new resources, and new friends to be made!
Prior year, February 15, 2022 the theme included a deep dive into the revolutionary 6502 chip; the chip that changed the world, created in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania!
Prior to that, on February 15, 2021, we celebrated the ENIAC on World Computer Day; the 75th anniversary of the world's first all-electronic, programmable computer, the ENIAC at www.ENIACDay.org web site.
Take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know about the World Computer Day celebrations on February 15th, each year.

This is the one day when people around the globe celebrate the virtues and benefits of computing innovation, open their shops for tours (both virtual and physical), discuss new technologies, and work to include computing excellence in legislation at the local, regional, national and international levels.
