Join the Japan- America Society of Greater Philadelphia (JASGP) for a traditional Japanese tea ceremony at Shofuso this July 17th! Members of Urasenke Philadelphia will demonstrate a tea ceremony, and then provide guests with a bowl of matcha (green tea) and a wagashi (Japanese traditional seasonal sweet).
The ceremony will take place sitting on the floor, so make sure to dress appropriately and be prepared. There are limited chairs available and the event is limited to 25 people.
There are two sessions, one at 1:00pm and another at 2:30pm.
Make sure to register for this event, the admission price is $40 for non-members and $35 for JASGP Members. Full refunds are given with a one week notice, after that the tickets are non refundable.
