Travel to the Roof of the World with the Music of Pipa as the Geographical Society of Philadelphia's Marco Polo travelogue series kicks off on the 17th floor of the University of the Arts Caplan Recital Hall. The Tibetan culture will be blended with Pipa, the Chinese lute music through presentations by East-Asian specialists as well as travel enthusiasts; David Dettmann, Lucille Pilling, and Paula Roberts. Meet fellow travelers, share travel tips, and enjoy a reception and networking session.
