Join award-winning playwright and Co-Artistic Director of Power Street Theatre, Erlina Ortiz, for a playful and healing writing journey.
Inspired by Quiara Alegría Hudes’ memoir, My Broken Language--the One Book, One Philadelphia 2022 selection--this workshop will play with the ways in which we use and alter our languages, then explore how a broken language can give life to the characters within us. Attendees do not need to have writing experience or be proficient in both English and Spanish to participate fully.
