https://worktoride.net/ Hosted by Philadelphia’s Work to Ride program, world-famous polo champions are coming to Fairmount park this September for the first annual Philadelphia Polo Classic.
Founded in 1994, the Work to Ride program is a nonprofit organization aimed at supporting under-resourced urban youth through various activities centered around horsemanship, equine sports and education.
Located at Chamounix Stables, the Work to Ride program hopes to bring thousands of visitors to this event. Kareem Rosser, an alumni member of the program and now a board member, is excited for this event as it will bring a wider audience to the sport he loves as well as create a community event everyone can share.
Rosser will be competing against his long time friend and fellow polo champion, Nacho Figueras, at the event. They hope to inspire kids to get involved with polo and horses in the future, as well as raise money for the Work to Ride program many kids have benefited from.
Tickets are on sale now!
