PECO Multicultural Series Presents: Annual Concilio Hispanic Fiesta

http://www.elconcilio.net Concilio will host the Annual Hispanic Fiesta on Saturday and Sunday, July 14th and 15th from 2 to 8 PM at Penn's Landing's Great Plaza. The Hispanic Fiesta is a cultural celebration and features two exciting days of music, dance, entertainment and authentic Latin American cuisine. Salsa favorite Michael Stuart will perform on Saturday July 14th. On Sunday, July 15th two headliners are featured, bachata sensation Andy Andry and merengue Grupo Oro Solido. Admission to the 2012 Hispanic Fiesta is FREE, and the event will take place rain or shine. For more info call 215-627-3100 or visit www.elconcilio.net.
Other local and regional artists performing at this year’s Hispanic Fiesta include: Alex Alex; Batucada de Puerto Rico; Amla’s Jazz Band; Tony Tony; the Jimmy George Band; D’lyone; Salsa Klabe; various Latin dance groups and many more.
A part of the PECO Multicultural Series, the Hispanic Fiesta celebrates all Latino cultures and will showcase various artisan crafts and authentic foods from Puerto Rico, Cuba, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Colombia, and other parts of Latin America. Now in its 31st year, the festival has attracted over 30,000 people in othe course of two days.
Admission is FREE for all PECO Multicultural Series events.
