A Night of soukouss music (African Rumba) form its pioneers. Afrisa International, the band of African musical legend Tabu Ley Rochereau, will make a rare Philadelphia appearance, fronted by Africa's most notable female singer, M'Bilia Bel, who last performed in the US in the 1990's and has never performed in Philadelphia.
This is a rare opportunity to experience African musical genius, and enjoy a bit of history right here in the city of brotherly love.
Please help us share this information with all who love or are interested in Africa, and African arts and culture.
