Art and science collide at The Wistar Institute on Opening Night where the top 20 winning images of Nikon’s Small World: Photomicrography Competition are on display. This free event, kicks off an exhibit of photomicrography (photographs through microscopes) that makes one stop in Pennsylvania at The Wistar Institute. See a vibrant, stunning world that the naked eye can’t see. The Nikon Small World exhibition captures the beautiful complexity of cells, plants, and animals at the molecular level.

Dine Latino Restaurant Week

Dine Latino Restaurant Week is a promotional campaign, now in its sixth iteration that seeks to boost the revenue of Latino-Owned restaurants by promoting the availability of dining options of any cuisine.

The spotlight is reserved for independent and local eateries owned by Latinos. Restaurants are asked to offer a free appetizer or dessert with the purchase of two dinner entrees to patrons.

Fall Rittenhouse Square Fine Craft Fair

The Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen showcases American-made Fine Craft in the heart of Philadelphia’s historic Rittenhouse Square. It is a thriving, walkable area of the city, alive with restaurants, offices, high-income residents, businesses, museums, and universities. This highly attended show draws customers from Philadelphia, its surrounding suburbs, as well as New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland. Show attendance also benefits from being in a high tourist attended area of the city.
