Teacher Practice in a Connected World 

Meenoo Rami (@meenoorami; meenoorami.org) teaches her students 

English at the Science Leadership Academy in Philadelphia, PA. She 

is also the author of Thrive: 5 ways to (Re)Invigorate Your Teaching 

from Heinemann publishing. The founder of #engchat, Meenoo has 

become a mentor to teachers across the country and a sought-after 

speaker.

Author and ESL teacher 

Scheherazade and Shaherazade's Daughters: 

Muslim, Feminist, Literary Icons for the 21st Century

This event is free and open to k-12 educators and community members in the Philadelphia area. 

Breakfast and lunch will be served at the workshop.
