The Israel – Palestine issue has been at the heart of multiple wars, political debates and ongoing tensions for decades. Both sides have their versions of history and both sides feel they are the ones who are right and the “other side” wrong.
In keeping with the World Affairs Council’s premise of being non-partisan on issues, this very special study tour will provide insight and access to political and community leaders, and stakeholders from both sides of the issue…some who find little common ground and others who have been trying to find common ground for years.
The goal is not to change minds, but to provide greater clarity as to how all involved see the problems, the opportunities, and what will allow people to reach a situation where all can live in peace.
Leading this special mission will be two Americans with long involvement in various forms of diplomacy.
