Participants will come away with:

-new connections

-creative tools for grounding and resilience

-ideas for humanities-based approaches to supporting young people with their grief

-examples of how to use the young adult novel Never Look Back as a jumping off point for self reflection and dialogue

Philadelphia educators, caregivers, and youth workers are welcome to attend, whether or not you have read the book. The session will be facilitated by Aurora Sanchez, Teen Reading Lounge Coordinator for the Free Library of Philadelphia; and Julia Terry, Co-founder of Healing Our Work and Education Program Officer for PA Humanities.
