The Olney neighborhood of Philadelphia is one of the most ethnically diverse communities in Pennsylvania, and this is definitely reflected in the food culture of the main business district along North 5th Street. Join us on a journey of discovering the hidden culinary treasures of this underrated corner of the city.
Participants on this tour will:
- Taste a panorama of ethnic eats from Asia, Latin & Central America, the Caribbean, Europe and the United States.
- Meet some of the business owners of these food and culture establishments.
- Enjoy the company of fellow food adventurers as you discover hidden culinary treasures in Philadelphia.
Tours are jointly lead by North 5th Street Revitalization Project and Olney Culture Lab of CultureTrust Greater Philadelphia.
Foods sampled span the gamut of vegetable to meat to gluten. So please let us know if you have dietary restrictions.
Tours will be given only if a minimum of ten people register. If minimum is not reached, those who have registered and paid will receive a full refund.
