Tenshin is the story of the 19th-century artist and scholar, Kakuzo Okakura. An influential Meiji era figure, Okakura, struggled to bring Japanese and Asian artistic sensibilities into the broader world. Starring Ken Aoki, Shido Nakamura, and Naoto Takenaka, this biopic tells an exciting tale of Japanese art and culture in a rapidly changing world. This is a free screening.
