Diplomacy & Dialogue: Tech for Good featuring Emma Chen, IVLP alumni from China

Date:
Wednesday, March 30, 2022 - 9:00am
Website:
https://www.cdiphila.org/home Join us for an early morning call with China and meet Xueting (Emma) Chen. We will talk about her work as an advocate at the frontlines of economic growth and social stability for entrepreneurs, migrant workers, and energy and chemical markets.
In 2014, Ms. Chen helped develop the Microbenefits app to improve communication between the factories’ multinational corporate owners (such as Nike and Apple) and their migrant workers. Philadelphia welcomed her in 2017 at the League for Entrepreneurial Women Conference and meetings with the Small Business Development Center at the Fox School of Business and Management at Temple University.
Today, Ms. Chen serves as Head of Business Development at ICIS, global source of Independent Commodity Intelligence Services – connecting data, markets, and customers to create a comprehensive trusted view of global commodities markets, enabling smarter business decisions that help optimize the world's resources.
