http://www.ihousephilly.org Celebrate Carnaval at IHP as we kick-off the countdown to our 53rd Global Gala: Colors of Brazil!
On March 4th, IHP hosts PhillyBloco! This is Brazilian music at its finest... PhillyBloco’s twenty-four members feature a core of twelve Samba drummers along with vocals, guitar, bass, horns, accordion, violin, keyboard, and costumed dancers. Don’t miss this wild and colorful mash-up of samba, funk, and reggae, all set to the irresistible beat of Brazilian Carnaval!
We're also excited to announce a very special set by Worldtown, who seamlessly mix Brazilian, West African, West Indian, Middle Eastern and Balkan riddims.
In addition, there will be a selection of complimentary light bites from Chima Brazilian Steakhouse, and a cash bar with wine, beer, as well as a signature Brazilian caipirinha cocktail by Leblon Cachaça.
Note that there is NO SERVICE FEE for tickets purchased online!
Those purchasing discounted tickets at the IHP Member, Resident, or Language Student rate must present proof of membership, residency or current language class registration upon check-in.
