This year's Bastille Day celebration is part of Alliance Française de Philadelphie 110th Anniversary celebration. The Alliance Française de Philadelphie was founded by Professor P. F. Giroud with the assistance of Mrs. Alexander J. Cassatt, Mrs. Robert Coleman Drayton, and Mrs. Sidney W. Keith, in February of 1903. Since then Alliance Française de Philadelphie has dedicated itself to promoting and exploring French culture here in Philadelphia along with emphazing openness towards everyone.
