On Saturday, September 10th, local nonprofit The One Less Foundation will host the2nd Annual Run Germantown 5k. Runners and families are invited to participate in the race and enjoy a day-long agenda of activities and workshops in historic Germantown. The proceeds of the race benefit The One Less Foundation, The Historic Johnson House and TrueWay Y.E.F., local organizations that are working to promote health and wellbeing, economic independence, education and alleviating poverty in Germantown and neighboring communities. So on September 10th, head out to this important neighborhood in the history of Philadelphia, get your heart-rate up, and support local nonprofits doing great work in our communities! Runners can register online . Even if you don't feel ready for the race, that doesn't mean you have to stay home. Come cheer on your friends or volunteer!
