Join the Global Philadelphia Association in celebrating the 7th annual World Heritage City Celebration on September 8th!
This year, the Global Philadelphia Association will support our World Heritage Partners in Ukraine, home to seven World Heritage Sites. We pledge to support the World Heritage City of Lviv by donating 10% of net proceeds from the 2022 World Heritage City Celebration.
Our 2022 honoree will be Ali Velshi, an anchor for MSNBC and a business correspondent who has covered global events including climate change, the spread and defeat of ISIS, the refugee crisis, the Iran nuclear deal, tensions between Russia and the West, the Greek debt crisis and the global financial crisis. Most recently, he spent six weeks on the Ukraine-Hungary border coverng the Russian invasion.
GPA will be celebrating Philadelphia’s World Heritage City designation with cocktails and dinner at the Crystal Tea Room this year. Please join us for an evening that will celebrate the importance of heritage here in Philadelphia and around the world. Head over to our 2022 World Heritage City Celebration page to learn more!
