Reception attendees will meet our guest speakers: former Canadian Secretary of State, Hon. David Kilgour (currently lecturing globally on totalitarian regimes) and the Deputy Director of Global Internet Freedom Consortium, Dr. Samuel Zhou.
Following the Screening there will be a Q&A with Free China's producer, Kean Wong, as well as with the guest speakers.
The film tells the true story of a mother and former Communist Party member, Jennifer Zeng, who (along with more than 70 million Chinese citizens) openly practiced a spiritual discipline of peace and compassion, until the Chinese Government began to jail hundreds of thousands of like-minded people.
