Scholarships of $500 - $2,300 per course are available to support students enrolled in summer Turkish, Arabic, Chinese, and Russian at the Language Institute at Penn State (University Park). Who is Eligible • You must be a US citizen to apply • Students at any level (High School, Undergraduate, and Graduate students) planning to enroll in Penn State Summer Language Institute for TURKISH, ARABIC, CHINESE, and RUSSIAN. Preference may be given to students who don’t have access to instruction in these languages during the regular academic year (i.e. high school students, students from Penn State’s Commonwealth campuses, or students applying for Turkish). However, all carefully prepared applications will be considered for all levels of support.
