20th Annual United Nations Day in Pennsylvania: Urban Development and the Sustainable Development Goals

Secondary School Students will meet to: Become more aware of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals and their impact on the future: Videoconference with the United Nations and students in Pittsburgh, PA.

Discuss in small groups ways students can work to help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals; and, Learn about the UN Student Leadership Conference on Development. Subthemes on Urban Development: Eradicating Deep Poverty, Environmental Sustainability , Gender Equality and Supporting Mental Health.

The morning Plenary is open to the public from 9:30AM to 11:00AM. $20 per student (includes resources and lunch) Checks should be made payable to Global Education Motivators. They can be mailed to Global Education Motivators, Chestnut Hill College, 9601 Germantown Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19118 or submitted on the day of the event.
